US chipmaker Intel says pauses business in Russia
WASHINGTON, Apr 6 (PRIME) -- U.S. company Intel, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of computer components and electronic devices, has paused its business in Russia because of Ukraine, the company said in a statement on its website seen by PRIME on Wednesday.
“We immediately suspend all business operations in Russia,” Intel said.
The company said it is working on support of its staff, including 1,200 employees in Russia.
